Piper Apache

The Piper Apache of 1954 marked the entry into the field of light twin engined executive aircraft by Piper Aircraft Corporation.  Designed to provide individual pilots and American business with fast economical twin engined transportation, the all metal Apache was a relatively low cost and easily flown aircraft.  It provided a natural step up to twin engined flight and played an important role in developing general aviation.
